(RTTNews) - Gibraltar Industries Inc. (ROCK) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that advanced from last year.
The company said its bottom line climbed to $9.5 million, or $0.30 per share. This was higher than $9.1 million, or $0.29 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.24 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 17.7% to $232 million. This was down from $282 million last year.
