Sales rose 8.5 percent and managed to come above the consensus estimate. The company also raised its adjusted earnings per share guidance for 2013.
Coca-Cola Co. (KO) is falling more than 2 percent to $40.01. The company's second quarter profit declined from the year-ago quarter and its non-GAAP earnings per share matched Wall Street view. Net operating revenues for the quarter declined and missed the consensus estimate.

The company lowered its third quarter adjusted earnings per share guidance and noted that its third quarter results were impacted by lower than expected GMV in its capital assets and retail supply chain verticals as a result of lower product flows from existing clients and slower than expected rollout of new client programs.
